The Saab wheels I love, and the Advans are even better, then there's the other wheel I can't think of the name, dished rim but instead of spokes its just a flat disc, another Japanese wheel I think but look so good on a period correct Japanese car

It's like somebody had a set of 70s Revolutions described to them over a really bad phone line.

I don't really like the wheels on our Golf...

But they are very easy to clean. I prefer the 19" wheels visually but didn't want to pay for them or ruin the ride.

I've always had a guilty love of white wheels. This Vectra Super Touring, for example:

I'm going to nominate these Speedlines as both the best AND the worst

Best because they just SO suited the 155 but worst because they were literally made of chocolate.

You're entitled to your own opinion, however wrong it may be hehe

I think the standard fit 19's on Megane Rs, especially in diamond cut are awful.

but the 19' speedlines on the the trophy R are awesome.

McLaren. Truly terrible.
The "penis wheel" hehe

It would appear to be one of the two forged lightweight optional wheels on the MP4-12C - about 12% lighter than the standard wheel and both fairly ugly.

The super lightweight wheel is a prettier design and 20% lighter than the standard.

The lightweight ones were a £3k option, the super lightweights another £800 - looks like a no-brainer!

Interesting that everyone is all about aesthetics and not about weight, mind.

A matter of the availability of the information as much as anything I suspect. It's remarkably hard to find weight figures for OEM wheels; even when manufacturers tell you the difference in the weight of wheels they rarely give you the absolute weights so you can compare between manufacturers.

I've always loved the Speedline Turinis fitted to the 172 Cup, simple and effective.

Absolutely hate any of the modern wheels where they are diamond cut, with sort of a black fill, similar to the Megane RS wheels shown in the post above. They look hideous and all seem to age very quickly and look absolutely battered. Can't wait for the trend to end.
