I imagine Lewis Hamilton was there. He has many special Ferrari's, including LaFerrari.

Let me guess - already all fully allocated to buyers? By the time the general public and motoring press becomes aware of these kinds of special editions, they're already all accounted for. While I'm glad they exist, they're gloriously pointless, and hopefully some of the owners will actually drive them.

On a related note, Ferrari are such a powerful brand that if they announced a ride-on lawnmower as a 'limited run', they could probably sell hundreds of them for any price!
These will be have been custom made to a clients spec I’d guess

Wow. Kudos to them for taking these to production. Stunning.

Id want the SP1, but in practice it would have to be the SP2. What a nice choice to have though.

No windscreen?

So even if an owner did venture out in one they’d be covering their head with a helmet?

Hmmm

I'm assuming you mean 1500kgs and not 500kgs? If you do mean 500kgs.....that'd be very interesting how you'd remotely plan to do that! rofl

If that isn’t the best looking car of the decade I don’t know what is. Although still given a run for its money by its grandad, the 1954 Monza

I'm very surprised to say the new one wins for me. Gorgeous.

I quite like it. The interior looks a bit like the cockpit of a 50's jet fighter.

SP1 must be in with a shout of winning the Top Trumps ‘road legal car engine litres per passenger seat’ category surely?!

I'm not a Ferrari person at all but that sp2 is a fabulous looking machine, definitely teenaged boy bedroom wall poster material!

So apparently this is 5kg lighter than the 812! Lame.

Presumably they must have had to have added a fair bit of strengthening to the chassis then to get the weight back up as you would have thought that it naturally would have lost a significant amount with the various features that have been removed.

Not road legal or so I read last night!
not road legal in america but elsewhere should be okay
ferrari claiming its the fastest car they've ever made
will be interesting to see the claimed weight
Essentially a very lightweight 812 in a cocktail dress.

The ultimate performance of it is irrelevant though. No screen or roof so even with a helmet you probably wouldn't want to go over 150

Not a huge Ferrari fan but I quite like this, especially in SP2 form.

Ha ha, they kept the air vents but there's no windscreen! Couldn't make that up!
