This image:

suggests a side by side seating arrangement. if that is the case, and it will seat normal sized people, then the car must be about 3m wide!

compare cabin width to a BAC mono (single seat)

and an atom (cramped side by side two seater)

I think that maintaining the formula car "coke bottle" wheels sticking out on pods styling yet seating two people is not actually possible.........

Has a whiff of the Caparo T1 to me...
I’m not sure I agree, it’s not on fire for a start.

I think it's more strange that a 305bhp 3.7 litre engine would need rebuilt after 6000 miles? Surely an engine under stressed like that would manage 100K miles, even with a hard life? I must be missing something here? confused
Same question here. BMW S54 engine is 343PS, 3.2 litres N/A.

3.7-litre V6 with a dry sump. It’s said to be good for 305hp and will offer “proven reliability”; Revolution said the motor can do more than 6000 miles, or 100 hours of racing, before it’ll need to be rebuilt, which is pretty good going for a motorsport unit.

That's not right is it ? Just 305 bhp

Yes, that's undoubtedly a quote for the engine's competitive lifespan. In most one make championships, the top guys are rebuilding their engines at least once a year to retain a competitive advantage. If your engine is older than that, you can forget being in the top ten (unless it rains).

Due to low funds, I've often raced with engines that have done several thousand miles and have frequently come out of corners going faster or as fast as the car in front, only to have them put several car lengths on me by the end of the straight - it really does make that much difference. I did a few Caterham races many years ago and at some circuits there was only about 1.5-2 seconds a lap between pole and the back of the grid, and under a second a lap between the top 20 cars, so you can see why engine freshness is such an issue in one make championships like that. For non-competitive track day use, you wouldn't really notice the difference.

Wow. this form is older than ten years now - but far from obsolete.
Just needs to add an ecoboost engine option or Ford V6 to bring it bang up to date. Also something about racing car derived aero or feet-up driving position.

I love that form, its still spot on.

Why people with money can't see this as a massive money pit is beyond me. But I'm glad they can't hehe

What a great lookingcar, especially from above.
Wish them well, it looks like a great car to drive.

The new Ducati V4R has 1400bhp per ton though......
