No doubt the majority of them will never see a track and end up as part of a collection.
Was waiting for that standard response, yawn
If it’s to be used in competition then marvellous but if it’s just an overpriced track car that will never see the light of day then it’s a bit st imo
That will be far more yawn yawn yawn

I´m not a fan of Porsches of the late but this OMG what a machine! The Moby Dick was one strange beauty and so is this. While McLaren makes it´s fastest pony looking like Skeletors daily, this is elegant and classy but it looks in a good old fashioned way very fast. Great job Porsche!

Good occation to have a look at the old boy too.

Further proof that Porsche can put some stripes on a turd, call it a limited edition, hike up the price, and people will lap it up. They must be laughing all the way to the piggy bank.

Not much different to the Ferrari FXX - also a stupid-but-great idea.

I'm also guessing that with the lights etc. that 'someone' somewhere will make their car road legal.

Whatever, it's a beautiful beast of a thing.

Where's Footsoldier?

Probably a daft question but what is the distilled water cap for?

Turd? The GT2 RS is a fantastic car.

Cor....that looks smashing....cant believe people moan that a volume car maker takes the time to make interesting limited runs of cars for collectors/enthusiasts........life would be way more dull if they didn't bother at all!

That is very nice.

I do find it a little disappointing that Porsche are looking backwards for their future output rather than pushing the boundaries with something like a modern equivalent of their fabulous Carrera GT, 959, or even a new 918, but that's just a minor gripe.

So you can fill the distilled water tank.

Sorry, counldnt resist. Its for the water injection I think, the standard car has the tank in the front boot space.

I want to love it but it does look a bit bulky.
Not road legal and no considerations to race regs would limit my interest further.

I'm glad they're doing it - I just wish they'd gone the whole hog. It's too close the the GT2 it's based on.
It needs to be lower, longer, lighter.
Hell, charge another £1m each - the collectors would still buy them.

Same as on the GT2; extra intercooling for the boosted air.

Porsche make this car - it’s the best looking most amazing thing in the world

If Mansory had made a GT2 RS look like this it’d be shot down in flames by the same people.

Nothing wrong with a GT2 RS, but this is just s GT2 RS in a fat suit for three times the cost. The original was called Moby Dick for a reason.

That's quite special. Agree with some of the comments saying most will never race but these cars were never designed for you in the first place. Let's be happy that they can exist at all.

Stunning. We’re lucky to be living in an age where there’s so much choice for these things.

Some wky comments on here but its expected from classic Piston Heads "because hate matters" people. I think this looks fabulous and its great that cars like this exist.

The point is that Mansory wouldn't make anything look like that, this 935 looks stunning IMHO whereas everything I've seen with a Mansory badge has been gopping tat.

Err why put lights on a track only car? Will owners be running these at a private Porsche Club night track event? Daft idea and what a huge amount of money to spend on a car with no future. Oh well.
Isn't it a class 5/lemans class homage? They all had lights so why wouldn't you put them on.
