I like it overall. The virtual cockpit is missing the round dials but it will probably be ok after a while.

Interested to see the other variants, if the touring is nice that may be a replacement to my current one.

Any six cyl RWD engine/transmission planned?

Why has BMW decided to copy the Peugeot family headlight design?




Back looks very Lexus-ish too. Overall, pretty much as one would expect for the sector. I think the A4 and C Class edge this in terms of design for me.

They do appear to have got rid of the god-awful shut-line which the F30 had across the bonnet just above the grill.

You know what's hilarious? If this was a Kia you'd all be saying "Wow, the Koreans have knocked it out the park" or something along those lines, but because it's cool to hate on anything BMW now you're slating it.

I think it's a pretty good looking car personally, probably the best looking in its class actually. This place is so full of predictable bores it's insufferable sometimes.

Is that so unreasonable?

BMW used to produce handsome cars, Kia used to produce awful looking ones. Now they both produce somewhat over-styled, thoroughly generic looking ones so it's inevitable that BMW get more flack for going backwards than Kia do for going forwards. I don't think this is significantly worse looking than the Stinger but I don't think it's better looking either.
