Moving on..... Team Heko wind deflectors. Plastic pissflaps for the tat brigade.
Never had them on any of my cars but have on a truck and actualy very useful being able to have windows down a touch and not have rain hitting you in the face or pissing into the cab all night while kipping. Guess that's another thing to add to my personal bell end list of things I have
Audi
Personal plate
Metal plate
Yellow fogs
Wind deflectors

Sorry to be thick, I’ve never seen this yellow fog light trend. Are you actually buying yellow paint and painting over the existing fog lights?
Even worse are the ones tinted with that greeny blue metallic oil slick coloured film. That's becoming semi popular round here. The Mad Monk said:
Free? They come free?
May I question your definition of the word 'free'?
Free - as in unfettered or without condition? Because I don't think so.
Free - as in without charge? Because I don't think so.
dude, chill... it was a light hearted joke... clearly wasted on you... May I question your definition of the word 'free'?

You're joking, right? Am I due a parrot..?Basically it's just a film that goes over the top of the lights, like a vinyl wrap, but see through. Helps reduce glare in poor visibility .

For me, I think that indicators permanently on makes you look like a tool.
And that's why it's great to not care what others think.Otherwise you might get upset and constantly post defensively about it.
My guess would be "most people" wouldn't notice.

At a guess, I'd say most of the bellend fads are running their course through the millennial generation. In time they will grow out of it and the next generation will find new ways to be a bell end.
Probably the sanest post in this thread.Back in the 1970s it seemed to be about sunstrips across the top of the windscreen (preferably with names printed on) and jacked-up rear suspension and painted flames along the side a la US hotrods... but on mediocre stuff like Cortinas and Avengers. As a kid I thought that st was cool at the time, but my dad hated that sort of thing and called such drivers bellends and worse. Come the 1980s all that had definitely dated. Driving a hotrod Cortina in 1983? Most certainly not a good look.
1980s saw bodykits - some very bad ones like those on the Tickford Capri.
1990 - Max Power. Nothing more to add. We still currently laugh at such cars on the 'Badly Modified...' thread.
In time, perhaps, (as most things) stuff becomes cool and 'retro' again.

I love reading these threads. They flush out the knuckle draggers amongst us:
I thought these inbreds only frequented driftworks.

That's not true, I'm a real car enthusiast, you're not a real enthusiast because you don't drive like a and have stickers all over your car
A quick check on the little gangsta dan's garage reveals some shed plastered in all kinds of bellend accessories.I thought these inbreds only frequented driftworks.

It seems the local BMW owners now think it's cool to have the front indicators on as side lights all the time. I have now spotted 3 cars sporting this new wonderful fashion accessory and had another follow me tonight (no headlights just indicators). Is this a new thing that all the cool kids are doing?
known as "US spec" as its standard over in the states. Simple to activate with "carly" which bmw fanboys loveKev_Mk3 said:

I can appreciate some nice wheels and a drop, but even then there's a limit. Sidelights/indicators just screams 'trying too hard'. Same goes for stickers and any other crap that makes the car stand out. Trying too hard makes you a bellend.
My 12 year old 535d has amber strip lights on as standard when the sidelights are switched on, so it could possibly like that from the factory on a UK spec car. I personally like how it looks.Swampy1982 said:
How dare you be so practical with your car... bell end.
I'm gonna capture me screaming at you whilst filming on dashcam.
Make sure you point at it so I can smile and wave I'm gonna capture me screaming at you whilst filming on dashcam.

Have been attached from new on both the Japanese imported cars I've bought. Really like them to stop water ingress while having the windows open. Nanook said:
Maybe he likes having the windows open?
Unless it's seriously chucking it down, I've almost always got a window open, no matter what the temperature outside is.
