The reason those assumptions are made is because of what they've witnessed through the window with their own eyes of drivers driving those vehicle brands. No smoke without fire. Naturally the drivers of said brands will get upset and say it's all a nonsense, won't they, mike335i ?
What do you drive then?
Focus.

Uh-huh hehe. Yeah, nearly an hour later and no stereotypes have arrived, oh noes! Could it be because Focus drivers aren't known for driving like bell-ends so go by unnoticed, unlike a sizeable number of BMW and Audi drivers... idea

hehe

We are against stereo typing you fking lemon. Don’t breed.

I asked you what you drive to see if you actually drove something somewhat interesting, not to stereotype you.

Or that no one can think of anything interesting to say about a focus driver?

Its the person that is the poor driver and they drive all sorts of cars...including the ford focus.

But yes, stereotypes are rather sad.

Well, speaking from an Essex perspective, they're all driven by people that are as common and plain as their choice in car blah

This is turning into a bit of a brigading

Plenty of Focus drivers are bellends, you are doing your best to prove that and it has nothing to do with how you drive.

Of course I'm not going to stereotype Focus drivers, I'm not a narrow minded fool. I judge you based on you, what you say and what you do, not what car you drive.

Sorry had to come back and respond to this, it’s an hour later because it’s Friday night.

Here are some videos of people driving Focus’s unnoticed:

https://youtu.be/eJy3svQ07Nk
https://youtu.be/CKNQG6pSYig
https://youtu.be/KhF2zYd7ca4

And yes there are videos of the same nature involving Audis and VW’s, just for you and your precious little head to enjoy.

I used to avoid getting stuck behind Merc's at traffic lights because they were all driven very slowly. I was always right to avoid them and would find that they'd hold me up. But now, with finance and lease deals, you find all sorts of people driving them and you just can't tell.

We stereotype for a reason, and usually were right to do that. It's instinct. You avoid lions because they're dangerous. Oh so there may be one vegan lion kicking about, but are you going to go near it to find out? fk no. You tar them all with the same brush. Just like Audi drivers.

I love that you wasted 15 mins of your Friday night specifically looking for some poorly driven Focus videos in a futile attempt to prove some irrelevant point to a random guy on the internet laugh.

What happens when an Audi/BMW driver jumps into a Ford? Do they suddenly become better drivers?

Think I’ve proved my point with the videos, you can’t stereotype drivers based on their cars.

Some of the people on this thread are probably the same people flashing me from the middle lane of the motorway as I overtake them at 71mph, or the same people who flash me as I overtake them because they’re doing 40mph through a national speed limit zone.

From what I see with my eyes while driving, bell ends drive all different makes of cars. However, a disproportionate amount cars doing something deliberately stupid or aggressive are BMW’s. i.e. 1 in 3 cars you might witness doing something deliberately stupid or aggressive are BMW’s but not 1 in 3 cars on the road are BMW’s.

Someone had really touched this Audi drivers nerve.

Suppose you can't brake check someone on a forum so these situations play out longer than when you're driving.
