Anyone with one of those st tinted number plates or number plate lights brighter than their headlights. Guaranteed to be an insufferable bell end.
I didn’t realise the number plate light was a thing but I saw a 1 series the other day that had floodlights for number plate lights. I thought they had fallen out and were thus pointing towards me rather than down but now see that they were obviously meant to be ultra bright. Why? Ooh check out my rear plate isn’t it so amazing?!

Front number plate in windscreen is still the ultimate sign that a chav/bellend is behind the wheel and should be avoided.

I think the current knob fad is tinted or smoked number plates
Yes!! Exactly this, what is all that about...? Looks so naff!
A Bentley Bentayga has appeared in the last week or so in my neck of the woods with tinted number plates; you can kind of expect it on a £5k Astra but not on a £250k Bentley.
Depends who's driving it. Innit.

Personal number plates, especially on older cars "oh look I've got a 10 year old BMW/Audi/Merc but because it's got personal plates I look as though I'm loaded!"

Absolute tools.
Perhaps they are, you fool - because they're not PCP'd up to the back teeth! rolleyes

I had a private plate on a 10 year old bmw.
Then it was on a 5 year old Jag.
Then on a 7 year old Mini Cooper S
Now have it on an 18 year old Porsche.

I just like the plate. Never realised it offended some people quite so badly.

Round my way, Bali in Indonesia, its having a big tie down eye bolt screwed permanently into the front and rear bumpers.

These are in a bright alloy; usually a red, purple or yellow.

Serve absolutely no purpose (unless getting your car taken away on a low loader) and I really don't fancy being whacked on the shin by one at any speed.

Knobs.

There aren't many of those left on PH. Its more for people to berate others these days, just like in this thread...
Yep, either the colour, make, mods or driving ability MUST be judged by the 'loose women of PH'.

They like having their indicators like American sidelights. Grow up and get over it.

M-Power colours painted on the grille, this is 100% cringe to me.
Especially on 318 SE spec
Derbyshire police pulled this French registered shed last week, loving the use of tape on the grill.

I think the biggest bellend fad is assuming everyone with a car better/newer than yours is a scrote with loads of debt or a criminal.

It's pressed plates round this way. Usually combined with illegal spacing, illegal tints and murdered out wheels. Almost invariably on a black or white VAG/Merc/Bimmer with the smallest dag dag engine known to mankind spewing out soot.

Knobs.

Someone at work has a "Because - Polo" sticker down the side of the windscreen. Pretty bell-endian IMHO.

It seems the local BMW owners now think it's cool to have the front indicators on as side lights all the time. I have now spotted 3 cars sporting this new wonderful fashion accessory and had another follow me tonight (no headlights just indicators). Is this a new thing that all the cool kids are doing?

What does that even mean, what are they trying to say? I've seen similar on Vectras and Zafiras.

Oh that's a thing is it?

I'm not a fan of modern BMWs so don't tend to take much notice of them. Yesterday I walked past a high spec Jewish looking X5 that had this. I wrongly assumed it signified some sort of model designation. I quite liked it.

Now I know it's a chatty mod I'll give similar cars a wide berth.
