Yes you are a bellend.
You know tinted plates are illegal for a reason?
Have you ever driven over the speedlimit? You know tinted plates are illegal for a reason?
both of my cars have tinted plates.
One is a white bmw that has been lowered.
Bite me.

P.S. I always liked the yellow fog look
Yellow foglamps actually make a lot of sense as it drastically reduces the blinding effect of the light in very thick fog or during snowfalls both to yourself and other drivers.I once got pulled by plod for having yellow foglights on a car - he wouldn't believe me when I told him that was factory fit.

One is a white bmw that has been lowered.
Bite me.
Because I'd rather be a bellend than a hypocrite.

Someone at work has a "Because - Polo" sticker down the side of the windscreen. Pretty bell-endian IMHO.
A 51 plate basic Micra on a street local to me has "because Micra" emblazoned on the front grille and rear window. It also has a matt black bonnet (red car) and black universal wheel trims. It looks ridiculous to me, but I suppose if the owner likes to make a statement, so be it.cb1965 said:
Exactly, yet another thread of people so insecure that they feel everyone else has to conform to their idea of what is acceptable and those that don't are held up for ridicule. Thread after thread is like this... council, parking, plates, black wheels... truly pathetic frankly!
You mean like someone advocating number plates for cyclists......have to love the irony.Daston said:
It seems the local BMW owners now think it's cool to have the front indicators on as side lights all the time. I have now spotted 3 cars sporting this new wonderful fashion accessory and had another follow me tonight (no headlights just indicators). Is this a new thing that all the cool kids are doing?
Just playing Devil advocate but did you think this through? You own a lovely car, really, one of my favourites, but seem to have forgotten that little thing which everyone has in life. Choice. I am sure when you decided to put a bean can on the RX you did so for all the usual reasons. So, what's the difference, all the 'cool kids' with RX's fit bean cans and a few local lads think having their indicators on all the time makes them, well whatever they think This place is just one huge hypocrisy dump at present.

Front number plate in windscreen is still the ultimate sign that a chav/bellend is behind the wheel and should be avoided.
why?I see dozens of almost inevitably older German cars and builders vans missing front plates every week here in the Essex Badlands. They really can't be randomly falling off because if they were every single one would be smashed to a squillion bits in the gutter than rather than miraculously remaining in one piece and end up being wedged very conveniently obscured behind the passengers wiper blade .
Missing a front plate can only be either a risible attempt at copying the latest vacuous fad among the mouth breathers and hard of thinking or a quite deliberate attempt at avoiding identification.
Or very possibly both - and neither suggests anything positive about anybody without one.
