Car swap - who wants an AMG Merc for 3 months?
Discussion
I have recently bought the ideal car and, for you Harry, would be willing to trade.
Welcome to my Fiat Panda 4x4, more commonly known as Andy (or “that stbox” by my son, but we’ll ignore that for the sake of marketing)
It’s extremely capable in the snow (a trillion Italians can’t be wrong), will cruise all day long at 100 (km/h) and even has brand new Michelin Cross Climates fitted all round.
It is the only sensible option here and will provide Mrs F that sense of flair, style and excrement that only a true Italian thoroughbred can deliver.
In return, I promise faithfully not to wring the nuts off your AMG
What’d ya think? I’m even in nice, rural Berkshire; just think of your Merc frolicking with all the sheep and cows. What more could it ask for?

I'd happily swap you my Discovery 4 for your trip (or to give it its full title, my Land Rover Discovery 4 SDV6 HSE). It's very nice and has just had a full major service. Would eat up the miles and the slopes. Kept us going with no dramas at all during the Beast from the East.
Having had a CLS63, the shooting brake is on my list of potential family cars so I'd be extremely interested in what sounds like a brilliant swap. I have another 4x4 to see me through the winter... a 911 Carrera 4 GTS
I'm in Scotland but have to come down to London in November and would happily drive the Disco down to you. I'm sure I could find a reason to come down again in April to swap back.
Pick me, pick me!

Much rarer than any of the other suggestions. It's a Quadra with working 4WD and yellow fogs (a legal requirement when driving in France*)
I shall finish my application with a vision of your future. Magnifique:
*Possibly.
Nothing to offer personally but have you searched instagram for forxex trader "millionaires", they would probably pay you a nominal fee to be able to smoke around in your car for a few months and pretend it's theirs, expect a million images of it on insta by the time you return.
You will probably only get this in return as a swap though.

2009 MINI Cooper. Reliable, great on fuel, good heater, Isofix, you can get a surprising amount of stuff in with one of the rear seats folded down, plug-in seat heater and it's awesome on snow on its Michelin X-Ice tyres. Ground clearance not quite as good as an SUV but more than the original Mini Coopers and they won the Monte doncha know! Let me know.
I would gladly proffer my 2010 FFRR TDV8 Vogue SE - with the essential rear screens to entertain the infant child....
I have also recently replaced the well know and highly temperamental ventilated seat heater unit and intercooler pipes so no risk of blanket fogging the continentals on the mountain passes.
