RE: VW Up GTI v Mazda 2 GT Sport v Suzuki Swift Sport
Discussion
Just had a test drive in the Swift. Mostly as per the reviews really. Stops on a sixpence, handling felt as good as the previous model, exhaust note is non-existent. Felt genuinely quick, guess the lack of weight helps. Engine was nice, still felt like you had to use the gears to get the most out of it which is nice. Gear change didn’t feel *quite* as good as the previous model, however that may have something to do with the way the salesman was driving the car from cold.
And oh yeah, girlfriend just put a deposit down on one. Two Swift Sports in the household now, feel like I should buy a cheap mk1 to finish the set.

Picking this up tonight I think. Looking forward to it but must keep telling myself it’s not my car......And oh yeah, girlfriend just put a deposit down on one. Two Swift Sports in the household now, feel like I should buy a cheap mk1 to finish the set.
