I'm not a fan of Ferrari, never been one, but always admired 400 and 412 for its austere laconic design - it looked like an athletic gentleman in a tailored suit for 9 year old me. And the 'face' looks classy rather than aggressive unlike any other modern Ferrari or indeed unlike any modern car. Love it

I'm assuming the rear shot is the FF/GTC4 judging by the shape of the rear side window.
Anyhow, I think it's a shame the article doesn't once mention the 365 GT4 2+2, instead fast forwarding to the 412. Even the intermediate 400 doesn't feature.
Beat me to it. I thought the same thing about the shot of the rear cabin. No correlation in the window shape whatsoever.Anyhow, I think it's a shame the article doesn't once mention the 365 GT4 2+2, instead fast forwarding to the 412. Even the intermediate 400 doesn't feature.
Otherwise I quite like this. But then I like the 412.
Looks really good to me, even the wheels. Love the interior. No shots of it with the lights up though? I wonder how the length of the car has been effected. The first picture makes the boot look very long where another further down makes it look more compact. Still going to be over 5 metres you would have thought.
Perhaps the 'pumped' wheel arches are a little too 'in yer face' - not exactly Grp 4 works Escort Mk 1 RS1600 arches but I feel something more akin to the Maserati Shamal/Ghibli 2 efforts would help the car's lines to flow better. Otherwise the car's lines are pretty elegant - not a word which can be ascribed to a lot of current high performance cars (or cars of any type these days for that matter).
