That's lovely, except for the wheels which look out of proportion.
Yes the modern trend for big wheels and hyper low profile tyres leaves them looking like cartwheels, which I doubt was the intention. Otherwise I think it looks great.KillianB4 said:
I passed Ares design a week ago on my way out of Maranello, looks like a cool outfit. Was admiring a 412 in the Ferrari Museum in the same colour as this Ares one and you know.... I think it looks damn cool. Not that it matters much I'll never have either but I'm happy to drool from a distance.
On my way out of Maranello! Show off !!

Yes, they have a dish that makes them look good. These don't so they looking a st scene wheel that vaguely follows a similar design.
Next question?
Why bother commenting like this? Besides, 3sdm probably designed the wheel to be a retro, good looking wheel based on the classic ferrari design, so why is it a problem used on something like this? Which is lovely.Next question?
I’m not really a wheel officianado. The ‘I don’t like the wheels’ posts on PH always remind me of the ‘I don’t like the colour’ comments by women. It’s as if the concept of changing the wheels or choosing a different colour of the car is an anathema?
Especially with a toy like this where the vendors are clearly going to find you different wheels and adjust any suspension or geometry accordingly and the purchaser is going to have the means to pay.

I can't abide the obsession with big wheels. I love the original shape of this car. I can recall when they were so unloved and £10k, or less, in the classifieds. The updated shape is stunning though I worry it's designed around the wheels. Whilst I don't like these wheels at all I can't visualise a more conservative option that would work with the body as it is.Especially with a toy like this where the vendors are clearly going to find you different wheels and adjust any suspension or geometry accordingly and the purchaser is going to have the means to pay.

I'm assuming the rear shot is the FF/GTC4 judging by the shape of the rear side window.
Anyhow, I think it's a shame the article doesn't once mention the 365 GT4 2+2, instead fast forwarding to the 412. Even the intermediate 400 doesn't feature.
Didn't the 365 have triple rear lights? This only has double like the 400 / 412Anyhow, I think it's a shame the article doesn't once mention the 365 GT4 2+2, instead fast forwarding to the 412. Even the intermediate 400 doesn't feature.
I like this, I think they've been clever in taking the 400 / 412 style and updating it without going too far. OK, maybe they went too far on the wheels.
Do I like it? Yes. Would I buy it? No. Am I likely to see one? Ever? Maybe... I work in Mayfair after all and we see all sorts 'round here.
