He was suffering from bulimia.

Top Gear is buggered then, people run a mile from embarrassing and I predict this will be worse than the eternally noisy wannabe kid.

Got to love tom Ford, and his never to be repeated infamous moment. Years spent road testing supercars in exotic locations. ' So how did you break your leg? Was it at the Nurburgring or similar? - No I crashed at 15 mph trying to do a burnout in a Bedford rascal van painted in the a team colours'. ......oh ok.

Guy Martin + Chris Harris + Mark Webber would have been the best choice imho.
Wayne Rooney + Shmee + "Lord" Aleem would have been even better.

Henry Catchople and the Carfection vids are the best car reviews / features on 'tinternet IMO but he's not right for TG.

It's an entertainment show based on cars not for serious car tests. That went out with Quentin 'Dracula' Wilson and Tony 'Chipmunk' Mason.

Someone suggested Harris, Guy Martin and Jodie Kidd which I thought would have been good.

That said I watched very little of the last few series. If there was anything on there I wanted to see I'd watch it on iplayer but skip the rest.

TG being essential Sunday night viewing ceased years ago for me.

Whilst I like Guy (and his documentaries) I'm not sure he would be right for Too Gear or if Top Gear would be right for him.
If you know much about Guy you'll probably understand what I mean.

Kidd should be banned from presenting anything "motor" related following her appalling coverage of the TT this year. Sour faced, boring, posh totty.
She was appalling on The Car Show (or whatever it was called) with Quentin Wilson too.
She's got the charisma of a dead fly.

doesn't have the crap celebrity bit where someone drives a st car around a track in exchange for plugging their non-car related guff on a car show.
I would skip this part in every episode (aside from when they had the f1 drivers)

Have to agree on Jodie Kidd. I think Top Gear need to cut this crap out and use CH to employ some decent journo's. It could be an Evo reunion biggrin

The most amazing thing about McGuinness is that he appears to have found a cure for baldness/ thinning hair.

He had a proper birds nest/ monk look going on a few years ago - now he's got a full head of hair.

Did you see Kidd on the TT coverage this year ?

She couldn't have been less enthusiastic/ interested if she had tried.
She had a face like someone had just kicked her in the sponge.

Don't get me wrong, I'd quite like to spend some, er, quality time with her (in a kind of live out your fantasies "Land of The Giants" type of erotic scenario).

But she's a st presenter. Personality isn't her strong point.

Back when Evans took over Guy Martin was approached but turned the role down as far as I understand it.

Talk about a race to the bottom. Two of the least funny people on TV who will try to recreate the laddish behaviour the original trio did so well, but without the chemistry and charisma. If Top Gear was terminally ill, they've just finished it off.
