It is evidently fit enough for whatever purpose the good folks bidding on it had imagined for it.

What purpose do you think it should be serving other than raising funds for a good cause whilst providing the person contributing the capitol with something in return?

Do you think that anyone bidding would be completely unaware on what they were bidding on or what they might be able to do with it?

Well seeing as the both the car itself beforehand, and the resulting auction of it, have gained world wide publicity it has surely fulfilled its purpose to that extent as well?

The fact that the resulting example that Porsche decided to produce doesn't met to everyone's approval (was it ever going to appeal to everyone?) hasn't stopped it achieving anything that it set out to achieve has it?

If you genuinely think that they couldn't have done much worse do you expect the exercise to have damaged Classic Porches chances of being a successful venture for the brand?

That is not what I have said at all is it. You made the sweeping statement that you don't think it has fulfilled it's purpose, I merely provided a counter view to show that I think it has (regardless of any personal opinion of the car itself). Again; it is largly irrelevant what a given individual thinks about the product Porsche chose to commission as the world is a big place with many differing views and I am sure that Porsche have a better idea than either you, or I, as to who they are aiming the service at. I wouldn't be looking to have a gold car either but it doesn't prevent me from appreciating that a) many would and b) Porsche are just highlighting the fact that they aren't going to be overly stuffy about their clients choices.

I'd be genuinely interested to hear your ideas for alternative projects. What would have liked to have seen?

Nope. It really is just the way you have taken it, intended or otherwise.

So you don't actually have anything constructive or informative to add? You could have just said that you didn't like the aesthetic's in the first place rather than trying to make it something it clearly isn't.

Ha ha, the irony of your post and the style it is written in is truly comical! You crack on lad, at least you are providing some entertainment even if you are completely irrelevant and have provided nothing.

I've already answered your previous posts and seeing as you are still yet to add anything meaningful or backed up your assertion that it hasn't fulfilled it's purpose why on earth would I carry on when the inevitably is that you are simply too blinkered to see the obvious truth that you have nothing that furthers the conversation?

Is it really me that has got their knickers in a twist?

Is it me that has made it into something it is not?

Is it me that has dug themselves into a hole?

What you fail to grasp is that it has clearly been shown that it has been a perfectly acceptable choice and has fulfilled it's purpose in every respect. I have simply shown how this is the case without the need to rely on my own personal view of the car itself. You on the other hand have provided nothing but a personal opinion and an over exaggerated sense of self entitlement that somehow the resulting car should somehow appeal to you personally for it have been deemed a successful attempt at fulfilling it's brief.

Is it really me that is blinkered?

Is it really me that is behaving like this is some grand personal insult?
