I imagine the exhaust arrangement will have to change as it looks too far forward to comply with motorsport regs and is probably too noisy to comply with type approval. Other than that I hope they progress to producing and selling the car.

What motorsport regs would not allow a side exit exhaust that far forward? It looks like WEC specifically allow side exits within the wheelbase so I can’t see any problems with their stated aim of racing at Le Mans.

It wouldn’t be the first road car to be sold with side exit exhausts either. The Mercedes McLaren SLR was fairly similar and Morgan continued selling cars with side exits until very recently.

I think it looks and sounds fantastic! Imagine it with "straight through" pipes on and it would sound epic.

MSA blue book for UK motorsport says the exhaust must exit behind the centre line of the car. This would apply to any car competing in a UK championship like GT racing.

LeMans regs may differ.
