None for sale at the moment unfortunately as the 44 or so owners seem to keep hold of them.
The 2.7 V6 hdi with 205 bhp seem to start from about £900 although the daft VED banding means you have to pay more than half of that again each year.

The 407 coupe is supposed to be a GT car and in either V6 hdi form it's all about wafting and cruising which it does exceedingly well.

If it were my money at this end of the market it would have to be an E46 330cd manual or if auto was essential then a CLK 320 cdi - at least both are rear wheel drive.

When I had my 3.0 Gt v6 petrol I also had an E46 330ci sport and E90 330d (and 130i and others) to compare and the E46 coupe sport 2002 fsh felt like an old banger compared to the much more modern Pug with its smooth ride and modern interior (ok its not RWD but the E36 330 is hardly a sporty car either).

I thought my X reg 330i M sport was quite sporty. That being said I love the lines of the 407 Coupe!

They're all a bit geriatric now unfortunately, I know the feeling.
My last car was a Capri 2.8i and I'm currently driving a 406 coupe.
The 330cd in E46 flavour reminds me a lot of the Capri.

208 measly brake out of a 3.0 v6, surely its capable of 250?
You can potentially use the tuning parts on a Clio V6 to bump it up. Since its the same L7X engine.
Problem is these engines leak oil like its going out of fashion. The rocker covers are made of plastic, and the rubber gaskets fail.
Unfortunately Renault / Pug / & Citroen no longer make parts for the L7X engine. So if something big breaks it could be difficult to repair.
