Think its only available on the Legende with the comfort seats, the one I sat in at Goodwood had them looked fine but I prefer the Lightweight seats in black.
It is the legende that I would be looking at. Full leather seats over the partial leather.

So the comfort seats are not as much of a bucket as the half leather seats then?

Not as "bucketed". The bucket seats are still easy to get into and comfortable on long journeys (so perfectly OK for a daily, unlike some other buckets)

The buckets are really comfortable but some people find them quite narrow.

Depends on your body shape really.

I’ll try both of them. I never realised there was two styles of seat to be honest. I guess you can’t get the seats from the pure in full leather. Why on earth is there still not a configurator tonolau with

Yes there still is a configurator - albeit in French. It used to be the case that you could get the Pure with both seat options (but the Legende only ever came with comfort seats) . However from the 1st of March the comfort seats are no longer an option on the Pure. Lots of people couldn't understand why there were two models since you could configure a Pure almost as a Legende.. Personally I don't get the need for both options, and this change seems a bit silly. It was originally intended that the Pure was really going to be stripped out - no sat nav, perhaps no front boot or climate etc, but that hasn't happened, perhaps because Porsche upspecced the Cayman.

Alpine Winchester have responded to me about the finance deals and said “wait until next week for new figures because the interest rate is going down and retained value is improving even more making it even more reasonable on a lease.” My bold but interesting to know.

Has anyone had the litchfield remap or driven a car with it?

That's good news -high lease rates have been quoted as a reason not to buy. Don't know anyone who has driven the Litchfied conversion - apart from the press (very positive). Litchfield have sold at very least 4 so someone must have experience. However since the torque is way beyond the declared torque limiit of the gearbox (320nm) I'd be a bit wary until its durability is clearer.

Yeah I guess that’s why the product carries its own warranty

Havwn't seen the wording, but somehow doubt it covers the gearbox. I can't see an issue with the engine given that it is only slightly more powerful than the Megan.

I have some questions about the options guys -

Heritage pack - front bumper in the style of the Berlinette and chrome rod on the bonnet - I take it this is in addition to the alpine lettering. Anyone specced it or know what it looks like?

Storage pack - cargo net behind seat and storage case - what is the storage case? Is it a suitcase to fit the front boot?

Alpine telemetrics - what is this? I know what telemetrics are but just wondering what it gathers and how it presents it

Anyone got the performance braking system? Care to comment on whether it’s worth the money? Are the callipers on that system automatically blue or do you still have to spec that?

Thanks for your help guys

Heritage pack - just the chrome strip on the bonnet and extending forward onto the front apron.

Storage pack is just a very very expensive small lidded container between the seats. Not sure about the storage net - but these are available very cheaply on the internet. There is ALSO some bespoke luggage to fit the front and rear boots, but that is completely separate.

Telemetrics. Displays lots of info on the central display. Most important is that is the only way to display oil temperature. But turbo temperatures, gearbox temperatures. g loadings, lap timer can all be displayed. Lots more - but some of it duplicates what is available on the main display - like power and torque. It's very configurable. It has been said that you will be able to upload track maps too - but the update for that is yet to come. It's just gone up in price from 200euro to 300 euro.

I have the PE and therefore the performance braking system. I thiink ithey are terrific - but haven't driven the "small" brakes. They are unusually heavy (which I like - I think most brakes are too light) They have great fade resistance - more than a match for Porsche ceramics in Evo tests. Blue calipers are still an extra. Worth the money - I suspect so if you intend to track the car - more difficult to justify if not. If you go for the Pure then you will have to spec 18" wheels too, so that is an extra cost if you would otherwise be happy with the 17" wheels.

I have just had my first illustration back and I have to say i am quite disappointed. To start off there was a bad taste in the mouth as they have added without consent the following four items -

Tyre and alloy insurance
Gap insurance
Cosmetic repair insurance
Supaguard paint protection

For the grand total of £2000!!

So this quote was for my first build before I really looked into it which was an Alpine Blue Genende with options that took it to 56k. So add on the 2k of mid-sold rubbish and the quote for 58k comes out as follows -

10k down
36 payments of £700
Balloon of 30k

Total cost £65200 at an APR of 6.0%

Won’t be dealing with them as the 2k addition is underhand and I’m not impressed with an APR of 6.0 which they said was lower than previously

Just tell them you don't want the add-ons. It's that simple. They all try that on - and I think they are obliged (by whom I do not know) to offer you gap insurance. Certainly worth asking elsewhere for a lower APR.

Oh yeah I would but I don’t like it it’s shady business practice. The figures come out less now than I know what spec I really want but I still think 6.0% is quite steep
