Wow - That was over ten years ago and the asking price was 2,600 quid!!! I'd imagine that in decent condition it would fetch that today and possibly more. The inflation proof car.

Seems that way. Peope will pay for a nice one. The ones Just German have brought over have all sold pretty quickly. I'd have one myself but only needed as a daily. Can't see it being the most economical car to run though
