I love it. But come to think of it I can't think of any Zagato design I don't like. (Yes, including the Alfa SZ)

Another Monday, another Aston Martin limited edition....
These are new pictures of a model they announced over a year ago, I don’t really think that counts as another car.

Colour is a bit odd. Looks superb in red.
Really bold design. Love it.
As for practicality, who would be buying one to put a dog in it🙄
The contrast with something like the utterly dull Panamera could not be more marked.
Even looks good from above.

lol, but surely this behaviour is not without a purpose

my two cents:

"When I worked in London, I came to realise that one of the coolest things one could do at the office was to be negative."

There was a thread a few months ago about Aston selling the rights to the last gen Vanquish to a "mystery" buyer.

Surely must be Zagato ?

Of all the old Torino design/coachbuilding firms, Zagato consistently delivers the most gopping designs.
Fun thing is that none of them were designed by Zagato. They're all in house designed and Zagato just builds them. Even the V12 Vantage Zagato was.

I think it looks stunning in red with the black roof that they have shown. I could imagine it also would look good in a blue and maybe even green body.

I think that it has the trademark bubble roof which is a must on a AM Zagato isn't it?

I thought the bodies were built by CPP, and assembled by AM...

Does not look roomy enough what's that rear box built in ?
It's a "Shooting Brake" sans horses. With a "box" at the rear. So maybe it's for when you're heading out shooting things, with other things that you store in the box, when you're transporting them, maybe. I could be wrong though.....

"Shooting-brake is a term for car body style, which originated in the 1890s as a horse-drawn wagon used to transport shooting parties with their equipment and game."
You'd not get a pair of Purdey's to fit in it.

It's an impractical estate car.

Good to finally see an Aston that's distinguishable from all the other models. Not to my taste but at least they have a 2nd car in their offerings now.

Better in a darker colour - less fussy looking.
It's an even more bizarre looking thing from that angle, could be a '90's batmobile in that satin black. Batman called and wants his car back, etc.

All those odd angles jutting out at the rear look completely functionless, like a period kit car. You can see from the picture of the open tailgate that the extra depth in the rear bodywork is baggy and superfluous. And those rear light clusters are very odd with all the opening in them, wouldn't like to try cleaning them. This whole rear end is an ugly piece of work to my eye.
