That has to be the best looking supercar I've seen in a long time. Beautifully proportioned, purposeful, dedicated but not excessively outrageous. I love it

I feel sad because inevitably one of these things is going to be purchased by one of those big headed YouYube tts who will promptly take it to a mechanical car wash...

Do F1 teams sand the surface off their carbon fibre? If not, why not?

I think there's actually a good reason for them, namely that the doors are so fat if they opened conventionally the gap left to get in would be too small for their corpulent owners to squeeze in.

is the top speed not actually 282 in that it did hit that speed one way just not both for the record none the less it did over 280 mph on a public road.

The reason I mention it is if Buggati get their car to 281 say will they claim to be the fastest or worlds first etc when in fact its not.

Also while its impressive if I was spending multiple millions on a car then I would actually expect unique touches like this like say 1:1 power ratio or a gold lined engine bay or a paint made from same materials as the stealth bomber etc

What I mean is at this level if it was not unique then it would not sell at all. Non of this is likely to filter down to more normal cars its tech for tech's sake
Rumour is that the Chiron is capable of quite a bit more, but VW group won't go above what Michelin will say the tyres can do. Until Michelin come up with a compound that they will sign off, we don't know what the Chiron will do.

Firstly, who do you think should be driving this car then? I don't understand - are you saying only a certain type of person should be allow to buy this? That opens up a whole set of questions, none of which are very pleasant...

Secondly, what makes you think that someone with the required money to purchase a car like this would take it to a mechanical carwash?

Finally, if you were in your early twenties with a load of cash and able to purchase pretty much anything you wanted, whilst also being an internet celebrity, YOU'D be a big-headed tt too.

Nope. Having seen the amount of positive attention any 'egg attracts out in the wild, you're most definitely wrong there. As far as the public is concerned, these cars are sub-zero cool.
