No, your comments just mark you out as a halfwit and it is a shame you detract from the thread. I’m the one enjoying a 110 and you’re the one trying to pick an argument with strangers on the internet.
We didn’t buy Porsches because we preferred the Alpine. Get over it.

Nice picture - probably the best one I've seen from the rear as they always seem to come out making the car look fat.

Where was that shot taken by the way?

PS stop feeding the obvious trolls!

You only have a Cayman FFS so think you can get off your horse...

Oh do tell. What is this mighty pinnacle of modern automotive excellence from which you look down and sneer at the humble Cayman driver?

This thread has become a bit "them vs us" which is a bit sad. But I find it sadder when people with run of the mill Caysters start throwing stones.

The Alpine is a more fun, interesting and engaging car than a boggo Cayman/Boxster to be honest. I wouldn't buy a non-modded non-GT Porsche as they are really quite boring.

In your opinion of course. Having the choice between an Alpine and Cayman is what is important.

Its tempting to get too close and use a wide angle but it distorts the perspective and makes car look too wide.

This one was taken in the hills near Cadair Idris in Mid Wales - pretty decent roads round there too.

As for the trolls .. we'll see, they will either get bored or grow up.

Back on topic, here is a photo of the bespoke lightweight Brembo brake caliper with a built in handbrake saving 1.25kg of unsprung weight on each rear wheel. Reducing unsprung weight improves handling by reducing the amount of work the suspension needs to do.

It's not surprising then that Alpine handles so well, even when there are snowflakes about.

Surprised no one has mentioned one of these
French
Mid engined

Obviously being linked to renault they have awful residuals so can be picked up for £5000....so you can spend the balance on a 986/987 boxster or did I get that the wrong way round?

Apparently there are some people out there who will pay more for a secondhand 15 year old RENAULT than it cost new. Can you believe it?.........
