Driving my mother’s then brand new Chrysler Alpine when the lights changed on a 40 mph dual carriageway.

The rock hard Michelin ZX tyres combined with a greasy road surface lead me to pirouette through the junction to exit it the way it was intended.

Nothing to do with going too fast or braking late as driving gods don’t do such things.

I went on a single seater track day, sat through the preamble, got in the car, laughed at the guy in front who kept stalling, all the while hoping I wasn't going to stall the bugger when it came to my turn to pull off, rolled around behind the "pace" car, then, when the "free" bit came along I absolutely nailed it, took every corner like a God, braked later than Ayrton Senna, generally was supreme.

Then I got black flagged because the rear wing on the car had fallen off and was dragging behind and I hadn't even noticed. I was probably driving at about 20% of the car's capability biggrin
