CAR did a twin test of the DC2 and Civic in their “Toys R Us” article back last millennium
Mr Bulgin didn’t like the Civic chassis likening it to a woolly pudding
See a few round here - one guy also has a yellow Jordan he uses in the winter and salty roads
They are quick off the mark but maybe not as fast as you might expect for power to weight compared to Integra

Certainly something different to see out and about though!

I prefer the 4-dr Civic (FD?) which seem much faster
There’s a Jordan around my way too. Looks a bag of ste to be honest, real shame. It’s a car at the end of the day though, so why not use it as intended and not based on what someone who thinks it’s worth a million quid says.

There aren’t enough yellow cars around these days.

It is easy to spot!

Seems like they've gone up a lot as well - £10k

Absolutely mental, 92,000 mile yellow VTI with a gopping interior. There is literally nothing exceptional about a Jordan.

You’d be better off importing a Phoenix Yellow EK9, at least you’re actually getting something a bit more special for your money.

I moved from a Clio 182 trophy to one of these, and my god how much better the EK9 is.

The engine, whilst probably not any faster, is so much more involving and revving out to 9k is such an experience, the 182 engine just felt mundane in comparison. The gear change and seats are amazing, they just feel like something very special to drive. The trophy was nicer over rough surfaces but in every other measurable aspect I preferred the Civic. Just to go against everything pretty much all the motoring press believe smile.

I went DC5 > Trophy and did not regret it. However, if the EK9 offered what my DC2 did in a more compact package it would be a nice comparison to make; EK9 or Trophy. The seating and gear shift in early Type R's is sublime.

I have a Jordan with 70k and was thinking about selling it for £3500 with a fresh MOT, new tyres, brake service, filters and new cambelt.

Might have to adjust the price a little...
