That colour combo looks very nice.
With c.800kg they should move along nicely. Isn't the 6 speed box close ratio as well?
64bhp, even working on only 800kg this is going to be painfully slow. With c.800kg they should move along nicely. Isn't the 6 speed box close ratio as well?
Anyways, this car would be slow, off the line and on the motorway, but imagine taking that for a B road blast, tiny car that doesn’t fill out the lane, turbo, light, nimble and you get to thrash it without breaking any speed limits! This sounds like a recipe for a lot of fun.

Why don't Honda sell them in the U.K ?
I don't want a 600cc Caterham, but this looks like a very useable fun car.
They've presumably learned from Toyota's experience - that just because you have hordes of "enthusiasts" saying they'd buy a car, doesn't mean they'll actually go and buy it. I don't want a 600cc Caterham, but this looks like a very useable fun car.

£19.5K.
So, who's gonna put their money where their keyboard is?

I have just imported one. A 2016 model with just under 17500km.
It's so much fun to hoon around and the engine sounds ace. Much turbo whistle and blow of valve noise. Sounds like a half mini Porsche boxer if you can imagine that.
Fast?......no.
Slow?.....absolutely not. 0-60 in around 10secs but in gear acceleration is great, it has torque. Nothing below 2krpm and runs out of puff at around 6krpm.
Keeps up on the motorway no problem and it's solid to drive, doesn't feel like a small light car.
Limited to 80mph or 132kph.
The Iva test. Didn't like the led headlights as no self levellers or washer jets but passed it after some pursuation. Speedo was converted but its yet to be fully cracked and didn't fully work throwing up ecu codes so it's back in kph which I'll leave it at that as the the fuel economy gauge is km/l and mileage is in km. A little obd2 mph hud speedo works for normal driving.
Winter tyre mode right now as the standard ad08r tyres are a little hard and slidey right now at these temps. Back end keeps wiggling.

It's a big yes from me, especially in that color trim combo. Saw quite a few of these in Japan whilst on holiday in October, they look great on the road. My only reservation is that there is absolutely no luggage space at all anywhere so its two up and no shopping or it's a single seater. I was wondering what was under the rear bubbles perhaps a bit of space under there?
Still love it though.

Nah. I've been racing a C1 in the C1 challenge this year. Every time we've tested at a track day we've been pushing people in machinery with twice and triple the power out of the way.It just requires a different style of driving, largely ignoring the middle pedal. :-)

Nothing under the rear bubbles except the engine, so no storage opportunity there. There is a seat back pocket behind the passenger seat, and a hook for hanging something on the bulkhead between and just aft of the seats...Still love it though.
