They won't bring it over, as much as I would like them to. They just won't sell.

Shame though, because I'd bloody love an old second hand one. And that's the problem; insufficient people drooling over it would pay for a new one unless the pound were worth as much against the yen as it was in the 1990s.

Perhaps we should legislate for small, light mid-engined cars in London, and promote the development of something similar here? whistle

You can buy them from import specialists, a little pricey though.

You’ve got to wonder why Western manufactures are bothering with hybrid drivetrains to squeeze a few more mpg from their obese SUVs, while Japan has had the answer to efficiency for 70 years: less car, more tech!
Car manufacturers mainly sell you your fantasies. Not enough of us can identify with a small, slightly cute, not very fast two seater, so it wouldn't sell in big enough numbers.

Mind the roads would be safer for other users and a lot less congestion /parking issues in our major cities ...

No I'm Leicestershire based. Can't miss mine it's the only Liberty Walk s660 in Europe.
I know the owner of the one in selby/york. Another white one.

There is storage space. It has a frunk. I think it should be called a froot though. Front boot.
It's big enough for a shoe or a ready meal....but pretty impractical unless anything other than basic groceries.

Did I mention 50mpg.

I hear people say shove a k20 or bigger engine and be done but it's simply impossible.
I have a h22 Prelude also and the engine gearbox combo is wider than the engine bay on the s660. It's a tiny 3 cylinder.

The hks gt100r kit will give 100bhp and 100lbft which is where I'll end up going. Spoon as of yet don't offer a turbo upgrade.
I feel like the Liberty Walk aspect got missed! Have you got a photo of it?

Damn that’s a cute little car. Just enough aggression in the styling to make it not embarrassing for a bloke to drive. 100bhp would be plenty over here. Love it!

I'm not arguing, but unless we ^c ^v the kei car rules, we won't change. There's a Range Rover in my road which doesn't look big anymore, it's getting a bit silly.

I have always adored small cars as past ownership of things like MG Midget , Clan Crusader , Suzuki SC100 and twenty years worth of Caterhams demonstrates . And whilst my ND MX 5 is bus size compared to the Elan which inspired its genesis it is still tiny next to the gargantuan horrors so many people now feel the need to buy(I genuinely no idea why anyone would even be seen dead in a Cullinan or Bentayga ) .

So this gorgeous little Honda not only echoes the sweet little S800(which made Triumph and MG rivals seem stone age relics ) but ticks almost every box for what a 21st Century affordable sports car should be . Drive this or an Aventador down a twisty B road ? I'll take the one from the firm who have never been frightened of competing on track please, albeit with varying degrees of success of late ...

I'm with you on this.

I still maintain the Smart Roadster should have been a huge success if they had just put a traditional manual 'box in it. Harrumph.
