It only takes one person to think that it’s worth £95k for it to sell
Does that mean that if another Supra with silly low mileage popped up it would be worth £95k?
Hmmmmn...

Looks ok to me for the money. The small exhaust pipe just puts me right off though. Shame. I was about to get my debit card out.

Typo in the write up. As the Mkiv is model designation A80.

I was actually looking to sell mine a couple of years ago, but events transpired which prevented a sale, and then when I was ready the huge increase in values has meant selling now would be madness. They are truly great cars. They are both hyped and slated by a lot of people with no experience and little understanding of them, but they really are very special when tuned properly; a practical, reliable, comfortable, super car slaying GT.
Looks great! Any more photos of it ?

I remember a few of the road tests saying that the steering lacked feel and that this let the Supra down.

Different strokes for different folks, the guy who bought it probably doesn't have anywhere near £115M!
Very true. For me100k is a DB9 or maybe McLaren.....
Good luck with the DB9 I know of 2 people that have these that dearnt drive them as they're so unreliable where I drove my supra as a daily drive for years never missed a beat

I recall reading back in the day that these Supras were a popular choice for lottery winners

Somewhat Surprising its an 'ordinary' early TT6 making such high numbers. No doubt there's a low mileage 98 RSP car (the holy grail of US-Spec Supras) that will come up on the market and smash this figure someday.

Americans have always appreciated the Supra WAY more than we do here in the UK. So it makes sense the collector car market there are paying such prices.

Fun fact.: The MKIV Supra held the car and driver braking record for years, until it was slightly bested by the Porsche Carrera GT

Japanese cars are like that. Lexus RCF or LC500 is a much better bet than any Aston Martin.

Turbo setup, modern billet, water cooled Garrett GTX3576r turbo on a HKS turbo kit

A few pics at the Nurburgring, on the previous BBS wheels (I had BBS LMs, which I changed for single peice BBS RG-R's)

The steering is pretty light, and lacks the weighted feel and feedback of some of its contemporaries, but it actually helps the Supra feel pretty modern to drive, and in the context of modern, electric PAS systems, doesn't feel lacking at all.

Love it! Looks superb in white.
What years were these officially imported into Britain, 93-95 ?
Is your one a late built car ?

Having owned an MR2 I'm sure the Supra is a really good car.

The only snag is when I see an old Toyota (2000GT excepted) I tend to think Shed of The Week.

With regards to the chap who said this will be dynamically superior to an E-Type so will pretty much anything on radial tyres.

Comparing an E Type to a Supra, seriously !
I have had lots of E Types over the years, but my main memory is of coming up to a fast down hill, left hander and realising that that boat anchor of an engine and the ridiculously heavy steel bonnet, do not make a good handling car!

I was responding to the person saying it was an outdated Toyota blah blah, so I was saying an E type by the same token was just an outdated jaguar to some. So if the E type can become a valuable classic then so can a Supra, all it takes is enough people to want them, the majority view doesn't even matter!

Even if i won 115m on the lottery, there is no way I would spend more than 9.5k on that...
Weathered and high mileage Supra Twin Turbo manual cars go for £18k-£20+ K, the market disagrees with you.

That and the lottery win, you can keep on dreaming, you dreamer.
