I'm a big fan of the hatch after the Millbrook day. Not too sure on this, although I've seen some pics of it in red, and it looks much better IMO. The hatch looks great in that blu-tac colour, but it doesn't work so well here.
I really do hope these become as spectacularly good value on the used market as the PCP calculator suggests.

Have one of these: The M240i has a list price of £38k. Comparing the discounted price of a car that's a year away from replacement with the list price of a car that's just been launched is ridiculous. I presume the M240i of which you speak is also pre-registered, aka "used".
I much prefer the hatchback.
Contrary to most it would seem, although I liked the i30N that I sampled at Millbrook I was not blown away by it and found it ok but not particularly exciting. A bit like a Golf, competent but a bit.... meh. Probably a good 2nd hand buy but I wouldn't spend nearly 30k on one.
