I'm 60, and retired six years ago, at which point I had a 2.0 Golf diesel, which was a good idea at the time.
Then came Dieselgate, so I decided to sell it and buy something to cover all the bases, a Golf GTI.
I've had more GTI's than I can remember over the past 40 years or so, this one's a 2014 Mk7, absolutely perfect for everything that I need a car for.
Although I could be tempted by an R.

I've got an Audi S7 as the main car - just about to sell it as I need a diesel motorway pig. Feel free to let me know if you want a well specced S7
A 1967 Alfa Romeo boat tail spider, nestled away, hibernating the garage like the blue Peter tortoise.
and a 1979 Land Rover S3 Lightweight. Not a round edge in it - crash that and it will be like a frog in a blender....
Currently looking for something for the weekend - 928 or Grant Turisimo but i change my mind like i change my underpants (twice a week)
It helps when you don't have kids.........
My daily is an Elise (I only do about 3000 miles a year) but the wife has an Octavia VRS which I can use for tip duties, etc.
I'm 38 but I've had the Elise since I was 27. I had an MGB alongside the Elise until a couple of years ago but it was rarely on the road.

39 years old with a Porsche Cayenne GTS. Kids and lots of snow dictates a 4 wheel drive. Audi RS6 isn’t sold out here so went with the Porsche. Not as huge as you might expect but that could be relative as I live in the US. Very capable in snow even on 21” wheels. Sounds fantastic as it has the 4.8 V8 and goes well with 420hp.
I’d have a 911 if I didn’t have kids. But, I’d also have a good nights sleep and less of a drinking problem to.
