Lose the two tone, and the chrome and I think it'd actually work. I remember at launch being horrified about the look of them. It's still a very expensive (cheap) old car IMO.

Not a looker that's for sure, but somewhat appealing in a so unusual/crap it's cool sort of a way. I could see it being a bit of a laugh/talking point for a few grand but £25k is quite the commitment, you'd have to actually really want one for that.

Couple of grand. You should have a look at how much regular US trucks hold their money in the UK. You’d be lucky to buy anything for under £10k and most modernist stuff it £15-20k.

I would be surprised no doubt, I don't know what these cars sell for, I've never looked at them. I guess I ought to give up being surprised at the prices of anything retro/classic, rare and at least moderately interesting. I wouldn't pay more than a few grand, mainly because it's not worth more than a few grand to me personally, I've never bought any car for more than a few grand.
