Nice because it’s different isn’t it? Wish I could get away with one again, everyone should own an MX5 at some point.

Yep same here. An easy fix though. The wheel design I quite like -- plus if they are really forged... Great. Rest of the package also very appealing to me -- colour & interiour look ace. Spec is as complete as one could wish for in something like this. And it still remains pretty darn light. All has been said about the greatness of the MX really wink.

Big question is $$$. How much will that go for street price? Personally not to bothered with the special edition status itself. The only thing difficult to replicate is the paint job. But I really like orange smile.

Should be dark green, beige canvas top. Wooden steering wheel, BBS (or at least, styled like) alloys.

Another site is reporting that the entire US allocation sold in three hours! yikes

I really want a softtop but with my current financial situation that would be like saying I really want a McLaren F1 because it's just as likely.... frown

£28k for an MX5? Don't get me wrong, I like the MX5 and this looks like a great package, but that seems a bit steep for something that's better described as an options pack than a true upgrade.

The RF with the black roof panel looks epic. Anyone know the weight penalty Vs the soft top??

This may have replaced the F-Type as my choice when the kids have left.*

The orange is better than the rather boring other colors available. Still waiting for the return of Blazing Yellow Mica....as on the 15th Anniversary Miata!!!
I'm still waiting to be able to spec BRG with tan interior then Mazda can take my money. I really could envisage buying one of these new and keeping it indefinitely. Don't ever really consider that with any other new cars.

A super basic version at reduced price would have been a better way to celebrate the ethos of the MX-5. Still, I like this generation a LOT.

As wasn't MG here FIRST with its "Vibrant Orange TF LE500", back in 2008? (complete with black alloys)

Can someone with experience of this car tell me if too-tall people can fit in them?

I am 6'4. Would not want to visit the dealer and leave 20 seconds later because I can't fit in the damn thing.
6'4 people fit in a soft top for sure, if your long in the legs short upper you might even fit in an RF, other way round no chance.
I'm 6'5" and I can not even vaguely fit in an RF, which kind of killed the "get the OH to buy an RF" campaign.

On this PR, are these deliberately bad pics? Why are they all shot in the dark/blurry?
