Its very very Mazda-esque, even down to the design of the wheels. Still, that's not a bad thing, it will perform and sell well..

I agree with this. A standard mk8 ST-Line looks so much like an ST to me it's quite difficult to tell the difference

Where for me that’s the appeal, the less special it looks the better

You are right there. RS in stealth grey might not look so special but it does blend in and avoids the obvious ""lets see what it does mate""
