Rather handsome in estate format. Are they a decent steer?
Drives really well, pulls well, can't grumble.
Last owner had it 11 years and really looked after it.
He wanted to know how it steers. He's not interested in how goes. Just how it steers.

Oh, maybe he's just trying to be cool and referring to the whole driving experience by the term steer.
He's also mixing plural and singular in a sentence so he must be cool and knowledgable about cars

I kind of do want to know how it handles as I've experienced the shove of plenty of VAG 1.8Ts, I did question myself when writing it as it seemed a bit wky, but then I realised I didn't care and it seemed like a succinct way to ask.

Also I do know loads about cars And my Mum says I'm cool.

Bought this old girl for £1250.

2006 330i SE auto. 109K miles. Running as sweet as a nut.

Will need front discs and pads for MOT and i'm making a few minor (non shedding type) enhancements but seemed a cheap car.

Dakota Lemon leather..

Auto wipers stop working after five minutes, and stop the wipers working. Pulling over and knocking the car off and on again reset them. Wont be using auto wiper button again again wink

Drivers door doesnt lock on the central locking.

Other than that all good so far.

Well done.

mmm nice - now i know why my current 1.6 SKODA is currently worth about a fiver.

that rear wash-wipe - keep the nozzle clean, otherwise the tube pops off in the drivers side rear light area and you wonder (a) how come your water pipes are frozen and its 15 degrees outside and (b) did the dog pee in the boot yesterday, oh for about a week, and then you figure it out....

The seller was adamant "nobody wants big engined petrol cars any more" rolleyes

He'd it on at £1550. Pitched him £1200, we settled at £1250.

Definitely needs front discs and pads but otherwise perfectly acceptable transport for anyone.

I'm making a few non shedding type "enhancements" but i think i've enough headroom in the price that i can get the car looking the way i want it and still not lose money come resale time.

That's outrageous value for money. Top shedding!

Too shedding. I like that BMW a lot. It feels wrong to call that a shed

I've gone mad and upgraded my shed. The driver's window switch was getting a little temperamental and I was worried the drivers window would get stuck down and the switch for the passenger window only worked in the up direction, so £7.29 had me this chrome finished Chinese beauty. Significantly lighter than the original too for added performance. Like any good shed maintenance it was fitted using only a butter knife which turned out to be the perfect tool for the job.

Have a virtual high5....nice
Looks good.

I liked that orange one on Audi Avus rims that PH featured a few weeks ago. By the time I saw that PH article it was sold.

My Saab 9-5 Aero just hit 150k miles and passed its M.O.T no problem. 5 years of straight passes bar one year that needed a brake pipe doing.

Remapped to 275BHP and 420nm so still pretty nippy compared to 90% of rep mobiles out there.

It is getting a bit tatty on the outside but is kept in good nick under the skin.

Definitely top shedding, that. I'm always a bit envious of people who find stuff like this, I never seem to spot them! £800 - looks like really good value.

The 330i as well - that's seriously cheap for an E91 estate.

Driver's door sourced and collected for the shtbx Civic...£50 and the wiring is just plug and play apart from the door speaker so I got him to leave me about 8" of that on the door.

I forgot about a key, though, so I'll need to pop back and borrow it to get one cut - saves faffing about changing locks over...

Oh, and it's silver, just for a total mismatch. I'm so looking forward to the looks on faces as I pull into Birmingham rush hour traffic without a care in the world!

My mk5 golf TDI i got cheaply is starting to have some wobbles.

I have a wheel bearing gone in the rear, makes a very loud humming noise from 50mph and higher along with traction control light & ABS light always on (think it's connected with the wheel bearing issue).

Also my wipers this morning decided not to work, but only when i was stopped (with engine running), when i was driving they worked (minus washer jets) and then got to work, parked and they didn't work again. Must be a dodgy fuse or something.

All minor things and easily fixed but annoying none the less. 9 months of error free so can't complain.
Could be a wheel bearing, my Mk5 used to hum like a really loud humming thing from the rear cos of the tyres, a known issue apparently. Have a look on the google

One of the great things about shedding is that it eliminates all those worries about trade-in value etc. By the time it becomes a ex-shed or even a non-shed, if you have time and space you can break it or just put it Ebay and somebody will take it away
