Is it classed as shedding if you buy a car that will probably increase in value ?
Not to everyone's taste, but on Monday I am going to view a Nissan Primera P11 2ltr SE+ AUTO 67k miles no rust full leather ,walnut trim and all the extras, MOTd to Jan
and really cheap . When did you last see one ?

My dad has a '99 Primera 2.0 SE brought as an ex demo at the beginning of 2000. It's looking a bit worse for wear, AC has stopped working, a little pain fade from the sun in places and a spot of rust. It still flew through its MOT. I can't believe he's owned that car 20 bloody years!

I used to have one, about 10 years ago, can't remember seeing one for ages, as for increasing in value.....have you been taking drugs?

Oooh nice. SE+ was the top of the tree spec wise. Expensive and rare even when current.
If it really doesn`t have any rust it`s a very rare bird. Check the crossmember that the rad sits on, sills and rear arches.
Also if it has a rear spoiler check where it mounts on the lid/gate.

Buy it and post up some pics.

Whilst out driving today on dual carriageway I was behind a Porsche 911 in the outside lane, and an early 90’s Mazda 323 estate in the inner. I was much more interested in the Mazda, shedtastic.

I'd be exactly the same.

Having owned both a Primera P11 and a Mazda 323 estate, I agree.

I like it, but I can’t see an automatic Primera ever gaining any value

Plus a new set of tyres. Then probably.

I think I still prefer shed life and will be looking to move the Fiesta ST along I think.

I did a 410 mile round trip in my shed on Saturday and was following a lovely 991 Carrera 4 on the M40 at one point. However, I was in many ways more interested in the immaculate Rover 416 4 door saloon that pulled into Warwick Services when we were there. Haven't seen one for years! I can't help myself but I have a real soft spot for those early 90s Rover 200s and 400s. I thought they drove very sweetly back in the day. Not sure if they are still shed money, now that they are getting rare.......

Oh and the £575 Focus mk1, noisy draftshaft bearing or not, performed the trip oop north and back without a murmur. Fresh as a daisy when I hopped out at the end of the day too. Such a good driving position those Focuses.......

1000 miles done in the Merc and really nothing to report about it, it's been faultless so far. Couple of noises under the car, a knock that was there before and a tinkling sound that I think might be a brake heat shield. I keep meaning to rebuild the compressor and fix the bracket though, a job for warmer weather. It's going into Mercedes this week to be treated to some new numberplates

Saab shed I took off the road at start of lockdown as both me and Mrs were working at home 100% and tax was expiring at same time so just didn't see the point in renewal so SORN and took off battery, just been keeping it washed and started it up over the last weekend and topped up tires etc.. Have missed it but wifes BMW is a nicer car (and newer)

Shed Chrysler Voyager day van is coming on slowly, stripped out everything that was in it, new bed is in but not fixed down yet, been rebuilding the kitchen pod and need that back in and fixed down so I can successfully locate and bolt down the rock and roll bed, need to service it also so will get the bits for that

It's the only thing it's getting treated to, I can't stand worn out numberplates so I figured I'd just get some dealer plates when I go to them to buy a compressor bracket. They're only a tenner more than a set from anywhere else.

I’ve only ever bought number plates for trailers. I think I’d only replace one if it was bad enough it would fail an MOT hehe

I keep my cars well maintained and safe but don’t mind aesthetic things. I keep them clean inside but not outside
