The ability to disable the traction control in the lower spec 280bhp models, a bit more power perhaps and a few stickers I'd buy it

It annoys that you can only fully disable TC in the QV and I haven't figured out how I could afford one, oh and give the Stelvio QV a Tow rating god damn it.

Is turning the TC off REALLY such an important aspect? It's hardly intrusive and doesn't really impact real world driving. If getting the tail out is a big pastime, suggest a snotty old ubiquitous MX5 and a track day/airfield day, rather than a 1500kg saloon on the open road.


There are a 101 things a technical tie up could bring ahead of that IMO.

Autolusso can mod them to allow you to turn it off.

My problem with the QV is you cant fold the rear seats down and I occasionally need to carry long things

Agree with that, but not that unusual with high-performance variants due to stiffness. But I got some AR roof bars, soon fixed the issue for the once it became a concern in the last 18 months

Unplug (make a switch), one of the ABS wheel sensors (perhaps), works on the GiuliettaQV

• Obviously your mileage/insurance/warranty/ability to stop may vary, dependant on country and race track

Yes it is a fairly important aspect in something that is supposed to have sporty pretensions, that I may chose to enjoy in the way implied by the advertising, I already have the MX5 and appreciate how well it goes when unimpeded by TC, my Abarth on the other hand frustrates me by getting in the way at the limits as like the Alfa it cannot be disabled, I will not buy a car that doesn't give me the choice again.

Yes I can pull fuses etc, but I shouldn't have to in anything that is supposed to be quick and fun.
