Had mine 2 years and still love it. Just be careful when the road is slippy in 2wd mode. It can catch you out!

Thank you for the heads up, the my22 comes with LSD so hopefully will help, Yours is a rare colour I believe, Punk’N orange? Unfortunately the only bright colour available is the new High Velocity yellow, which from the early release photos looks like a high vis jacket!

I'm researching these heavily myself at the moment with a view to purchasing a Rubicon later this year.

I've found this forum a great resource, pretty much everything is covered in here - there's a dedicated Europe section that is full of good info, from issues to modifications; a friendly bunch too. https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/#main.1

From what I can gather the 2.0 turbo petrol engine is a strong unit with few problems; there's some reports of issues with the diesel engine management system; there are reports of other minor niggles and much disappointment in general, with dealer support in Europe.

One widely reported issue that affects quite a number of vehicles fitted with the aluminium steering box is vague steering (to the point of being dangerous). The fix is replacement with a cast iron box which Jeep can supply and 'might' be done through warranty - though this is not definite. Check for this carefully during a test drive.

Good luck with your search - I had a TJ Wrangler for a few years and it was a strong, fun vehicle - they're not without their flaws mind, but they do get under your skin - they seem to hold their value very well as well.

I’m not hard core off-roader so no need for Rubicon, but do what the tech/ toys - so looking at Sahara.

Don’t expect an SUV like driving experience as the suspension/chassis set up has some significant differences from most road cars.
View the hardtop as a cover and you won’t be upset when it leaks as they tend to do
I’ve always found the steering a little vague; more of a tiller really
Massively entertaining in cross winds

Love mine and 7 years of fault free motoring.
