I don't know if my latest acquisition qualifies as I'd like to think it isn't a barge - although at 1,495kg maybe it's heading that way!
But it's definitely an M, so why not?
The rear quarter view of these is to me one of the greatest piece of car designs ever. Epic engine, basic suspension, amazing looks and a sound to die for, the old adage that's it's BMW's TVR is true-I loved mine. But it's definitely an M, so why not?
Join up to the excellent Z4 forum, the advice there is fantastic. The knowledge about what is OEM in a different box like brakes is great.

Thanks, it follows over 5 years of 3.0Si ownership so I've been on the z4forum for years and it has been really helpful.Join up to the excellent Z4 forum, the advice there is fantastic. The knowledge about what is OEM in a different box like brakes is great.
Not quite a rear 3/4 view, but it works for me!

Thanks! Here they are together. It's fair to say neither is exactly sprightly, despite the LR having a mild remap and a Disco transfer box for more relaxed cruising (everything's relative), and the Bug having a 1914cc twin-carb set-up... Fun though!
Gruber! So you're back in the UK?A fun pair. How easy is it to lower the front end of the beetle? My main reason would be for aesthetics but I believe they handle better with some rake?
Few phone pics from a meet this morning. More representative of the local enthusiast car culture rather than the usual supercar showroom. Apologies for crap pics, the sun was low so could only take them from certain angles.
Singer, amazing attention to detail right down to the number plate alignment....
