As Mr Stott will testify, I really don't like E Types as a general rule, however every now and again one pops up that makes me wibble a tad. And that is one of them cloud9
It gives it a very 'D' feel. Very nice.

Speaking of nice old Jags, I was cycling near Elephant & Castle in London this week and a most excellent chap was commuting in his C-Type Jag. thumbup

Or at least I'm pretty sure it was. And it had the little 'TOW -->' stickers on the back so one assumes it gets some good use.

I guess not everyone will enjoy this as it's not really car content (though it does have a brief car cameo, and some fabulous engine content), but I hope some will appreciate it...

Myself and my 12 yo daughter loved watching it - that is a thing of beauty but at some price...

Whilst browsing I saw this and meant to post it but the £300k E-type has made me think where slightly less funds would go on a continuation/rebuild/whatever:

FIA

But then this 50th Anniversary at $229k looks better value if you're not planning on racing.

It's one of the highlights seeing them flat out.

I'm not sure that I can get the ad I was looking at on here (on wife's Mac and I've NFI how to use it...) but this company has some amazing cars for sale particularly an Alfa I never knew even existed.

There is a garage near me that sees some interesting sights, including this Ferrari Testarossa owner doing some winter maintenance on his RHD White ‘rossa.

I think there can’t be many Ferrari owners that are this rustic / agricultural!
He freely admits he couldn’t afford to buy it now. But will never sell it.

I suppose after everything it is only a car and a mechanical one at that.
I’ve been watching a few Harry’s Garages and he comments that his Countach is relatively straightforward for working on in comparison to new fast cars. The Ferrari is only a slightly newer design.

There's a guy who used to frequent this thread who pulled the engine on his 355 and did the belts himself IIRC.
