Was the FOS reference too subtle?

I am very familiar with the roads around Goodwood smile

So quite a step down from Ferrari talk....

I really like the concept of this - jacking up a V70 XC Volvo - I had no idea it could be possible to lift them so far.

This one is crusty and the advert has absolutely no detail but whatevs, I like it!

There's nothing quite like the anticipation. Except maybe the first drive home with it...

Enjoy!

Ideal for the urban jungle I'd say.

Why are you asking me real-world questions? biggrin

If I lived somewhere in the countryside that needed some ground clearance in a vehicle, it would be an interesting change from SUV options. Honest John review of its successor (the one from 2007 onwards) mentions that these xc v70s were used more than xc90s for buyers who actually wanted some off-road use! Well I’m sure it’s just grassy field stuff.

Also, it reminded me of Holden Kingswood Overlanders. smile

Oops sorry

I've bought another car today. More details to follow. Totally unnecessary purchase.

The Thread now owns a Ferrari F12.

I now need to go for a very long lie down before someone tells me it’s not real. Today has been 40yrs in the making - surreal does not begin to cover it.

Does that mean no attempts at full throttle were possible or considered?

Are you insane ATM?

Did any of you see the weather this afternoon around London/Kent? It was utterly thrapping it down! The southern section of the M25 is ste in just a sprinkling of rain, in torrential downpours its just bloody lethal. She was twitching the rear end at 60-70 in 7th on a steady throttle, just in the water across the carriageway.
