I've always found it painful to find somewhere good to store cars, to be honest.
Long-term thread friend loon had a handy barn where I used to store my cars when I lived in London, and when I moved out West I found an initial place, which wasn't ideal, and it took me a couple of years to find this barn, which is perfect. Insurance isn't a problem, so long as the storage facility is properly secure.
Thanks. Thought from your profile you were still in the big smoke. How I long for the day I can move out proper and get a large garage and driveway- just hope I’ll still be allowed to drive the cars I want when that time comes!Long-term thread friend loon had a handy barn where I used to store my cars when I lived in London, and when I moved out West I found an initial place, which wasn't ideal, and it took me a couple of years to find this barn, which is perfect. One of my friends has bought this. I've not seen it yet but hope to soon.

This may be the best combo S211 E63 I have ever seen. Tanzanite blue over cream leather, with all the good options. A lot of want.

This one was for sale for months and months and caused me many sleepless nights. Now sold fortunately but I still have the details from another posting of mine where I was gushing slightly about it. Looks cheap next to the one above, I think.

In other news I popped round to see my friend's new MGB. I was really excited about it until I drove it. Now I know I am clearly not the kind of man who appreciates classics like this when it comes to actually driving them. Can't seem to post any pictures from the phone sorry.

I guess AMG’s and the like will be getting hard to shift with super unleaded approaching £2 a litre.
Well I don't want this thread to stray away from cars and into economics, inflation, consumers rejecting higher prices and so on. I have been trying to persuade myself that petrol being a little bit more expensive is no big deal. If these cars only do 5000 miles pa or 100 miles per week then petrol prices rising by 20 to 40% only cost you an extra £20 to £40 per week maybe. That's not really the end of the world right?
