If I ever decide to change my weekend wagon, it’ll be for a B8 Touring I reckon. I do quite fancy both another Alpina and another V8 engine
Assuming you mean the E36 then I've never seen one, do they exist?Leins said:
All manual too
While personally I’m more a fan of Alpina Blue or Green (or Techno V ), they did make at least one DY
As above, all left hand drive, all 6 speed manual, 333bhp but available as a Saloon (93 made), Touring (27), Coupe (87) and Cabriolet (27) - there are also a few B8 4.0 cars, all saloons, 313bhp apart from the 1994 number 1 car which was converted to a 4.6 by Alpina themselves. While personally I’m more a fan of Alpina Blue or Green (or Techno V ), they did make at least one DY
Very cool - a cabriolet without a stereo would suit me just fine thank you.

There is something achingly cool about e36 wagons these days.
What once were sheds 10 years ago...
I have to admit not liking E36's after E30's then lusting after E46's when they came out but now I think the E36 epitomises the almost perfect 1990's shape like the E34 and E38 - finding a nice E36 Cab is now high on my lustlist. What once were sheds 10 years ago...

It’s a pity for me that they didn’t do a B8 Compact. Or even a B3 3.2 versionVery cool - a cabriolet without a stereo would suit me just fine thank you.
I know Hartge made some, but an Alpina Blue/gold deko version would have been even lovelier

Well here’s an unusual one - someone has taken the best parts of an E30 B6 3.5S and an E34 B10 BiTurbo and put them together: https://m.mobile.de/auto-inserat/alpina-b6-3-5s-bi...
Bot a fan of some of the small details (bonnet badges/rear lights, etc), but overall this must be a bit of a weapon

E36 M3 saloon for me, without rear spoiler. Deep dish Evo wheels. That would be perfect.

This is the answer you seek, but the correct answer is the B8 4.6
I think you could be right! In other news, I see “G6 LTD” recently got sold, but 4 Star have another one up for sale: https://www.4starclassics.com/for-sale/vw-golf-mk2...

Can a Porsche buff tell me why the Targa is less loved than other 911's of that time? 50k seems like a steal but i'm sure we haven't just stumbled across the bargain of the century, what's the catch?ColdoRS said:

On the newer 996 cars they use a cabriolet body underneath but with the different roof configuration. That makes them a bit bendier than the a standard coupe. I think some people just dont like the look of them also. That big glass rear window is definitely unique. Then when you add the black clip on roof it doesn't make it look better. The classic 911 rear window of the coupe is what defines the 911 shape for some people.ATM said:
