£28k is pretty cheap for a concours condition RS turbo isn't it? Are they not in some cases up to 60 or 70 grand??

I am strangely liking this Peugeot 206 2.0 HDi.

Looks incredibly clean, very reliable engine and low miles at 38k and super economical motoring while being a reasonable steer.

Whether it is worth £2800 or maybe £2500 with a haggle is another question.

Probably brilliant to drive, but you’d have to be fairly thick skinned to drive that around laugh

Normal people won't understand, but normal people drive Kia Sportages.

I had an Impreza for a few years ‘96-‘98. Mica blue with gold wheels and a similar, if smaller, rear wing.

Absolutely brilliant car.

Not sure I’d want one nowadays though.

Collecting cars sold one with a lot less miles earlier this year, for a chunk less money.

Not sure how robust and durable the tuning is. And how well it would wear that mileage.

I assume it comes with a balaclava as standard.

I quite like this

Now I know it's no Tommy K however it's not that dissimilar in some respects, and yet in others it is quite a lot.

I don't think anyone has paid £22,950 for an XJ40 since they threw the last ones on the lot for £22,950 to get shot of them in 1994.

A car that deserves a lot more appreciation than it gets for sure but Jaguar saloons always struggle to be worth more than pocket money.

I saw a normal one in the condition you'd expect it be with the excellent cross-spokes driving on a motorway with an elderly chap in a grey suit eating a sandwich. I hope he had it from new as he was about as worn as it was.

This is definitely looking for someone that wasn't able to who now can.

Now, I'm a big fan of an old Jag saloon. I think I'd prefer the one you describe above over the Halfords special though.
