Thanks. Just read the entire thread. Some amazing insight.
I found it a very compelling read and it's a shame that out of the units manufactured (including 'MDF show cars') only maybe a couple are still roadworthy or able to move under their own power with one of those I think being the first Aston twin-turbo engined machine, based on a genuine tub and possibly genuine panels (G1ABB ?).

I'd love to hear an update on the original thread as to where they all are now, including the Cerbera Speed 12's, and in what state they're in. Come on TVR653X, V8 GRF, yellowwedge, 450Nick and G1ABB!
The Speed12, even though it's based on a cerbera, a massive build in time and cost, which was evolving with each car. The bodywork must of taken 100's of hours to produce. The engine itself is unique in design and all the parts bespoke and not till know has Ferrari got anywhere near the power output.

I'd love V8GRF to come back on and tell us about TVR life.

Having read your post above, I really think you need all the practice in written English that you can get. Stick with it: I know it's boring, but if you can at least grasp the basics...
Give it a fking rest you bore.

But is the only remaining common usage, as an anachronism, in UK English... the very existence of which highlights the fact that that we don't use the word, otherwise.
Nobody cares. Anyway......

Always a dream car. I'll never forget seeing this on one of the Clarkson videos back in the day, it looked and still looks like an absolute weapon. I'd prefer an original but as they are as rare as rocking horse poo one of these will have to do.

Never was a fan of the looks of the Cerbera Speed 12. Always thought it looked like a Cerb that had been covered in double sided tape and been used to ram raid Halfords.

This one on the other hand cloud9

I would agree, that looks far better. I have a model of that somewhere in the loft.

Are you mental? You’ve got it the wrong way round. The later purple car is an absolute dog’s dinner, the original design is still a Cerbera but absolutely pumped chock full of steroids, which is exactly what it is. Fantastic thing.
Must be me then. I think this just looks like a hashed together amateurish hatchet job just missing some dodgy 70's metal flake.

The thing is this was built for GT racing and was designed with aerodynamics in mind.

I believe I saw W112BHG in a small motor museum in the Lake District while on holiday a couple of years back. I suspect it lives there when not in use.

I also remember when I was a kid, having one of those Jeremy clarkson videos which had a white speed 12 hooning around the track somwhere. The noise was epic. Sadly can’t seem to find it on YouTube. Would like to see it again just for the noise!

Not the Clarkson piece but here's a white one doing a bit of testing at Snetterton.

It was the right way up when I saw it.

Found the museum. Here’s their info on it.

https://www.lakelandmotormuseum.co.uk/collections/...

Says the owner intends to run it every few months hence its position in the museum. Lucky bugger!

There are always old wives tales. Never know if they are fact/fiction or just embellishments but the story at the time was that they were unable to measure the true power as it just broke the dyno. Who knows....
