VTEC Hondas are half way there.

Superchargers help ( as per my first S2000 ).

You are clearly aiming low.

Ever driven a modern 911 ?
No. Boxster only. I don’t know any rich enough to pay £100k for a car.

Fair enough.

M3 ?

I know some will completely disagree with me here but I actually found the driving experience of an E46 M3 comparable to a 996 Carrera 2S.

Solid, planted, good steering and brake feel, similar performance.

If anything I found the M3 twitchier and more of a handful.

These types of car are very different to Japanese hot hatches.

Just saying.

I know - my point was regards to natural aspiration and why I like it. The Lexus has much less low down torque than my old E class - but makes almost the same power. It’s very tractable, and rewarding to drive. I like it. I find these Uber torque diesels very boring.

Why shouldn't I have an opinion. I am sorry my cinnamon ring isn't stretched from Porsche butt hurt.

It would appear that you have quite successfully established that you are not a potential customer.

Other than that, it's very hard to understand what your opinion is based on.

Indeed. As if he is on a mission to be the most ill informed and comically dense poster on PH. And to be fair, he is winning in that department.

Everyone has an opinion. Some use actual facts and real world experience? But that’s not everyone. Obviously.

I’m not the one calling them ‘VAG group white goods’

Let alone the what you’ve said about M and AMG cars. All because you haven’t got a clue basically.

You're the schmuck defending them and trolling someone on the internet though.

I’m not trolling you. I’m pointing out what you’ve said. And you can’t defend it. This is taking your monumental Lexus fetish at face value, and not dismissing it as a wind up. Now that, would be an epic troll.

Nothing is crafted like a Lexus. It's not my fault you cannot appreciate the finest things in life.

As long as those on there allow the exhaust to cool down before they push their Johnson into it.

(of course, not a problem with the fake exhausts on the IS F laugh )

8 clyinders are better than 6. I'd much rather have an ISF, GSF or RCF over a gimpy 911.

I have one of the best four door salons on sale. I’ve owned and sampled a lot - I should know.

No one has given me an Insignia but I always thought if needed a cheaper 4dr that would do fine. That said the Camry that’s coming over here finally looks great.
