RE: SEAT Leon Cupra R ST launched

Just a run out special really isn't it? For a fairly niche model there's been loads of different power outputs and powertrains with these, including the recent 'carbon edition' which is probably less desirable now!
I do like a fast estate though!
The Cupra "R" is always a run out model. MK1 and MK2 were the same, jokes in the SEAT community that the R is for run out. I do like a fast estate though!
I'm still considering a Leon ST as my daily, but it doesn't look / feel (to me...) any better than the equivalent Golf.
'Er Indoors is quite adamant that her R estate is better looking & more practical, but if I want a Leon she's OK with the idea as long as she doesn't have to drive it.....
As for what the Leon would replace, that's also a problem, my ancient but low mileage TSi Superb is very good as a people & "stuff" carrier & can be left in car-parks without any fear that it will be stolen. (No-one steals Skodas,do they....)
Maybe my Golf would have to be the trade-in instead, but I quite like it, & it's less cramped than the Leon.
If I can find a nice, newish, ST 300 at sensible price then a decision will have to be made.
