It's not personal and you shouldn't take the fact that our country has gone downhill since the flood gates opened - because it has. We might be richer, but we are definitely less safe. You might care about the economy (most people who don't see themselves as British really do hence they'll do almost anything to get here and stay) and less about the country as you aren't actually from here and don't have the same emotional investment in it. Indeed you said in another thread you like London but not the UK. Well, we Brits care about Britain and our country and that goes beyond our back pockets which all you business school types go on about with regard to Brexit etc.

You should drop the insults it's not necessary. The stonings were filmed on police interceptors or maybe bodycam cops etc. Maybe they didn't happen if you didn't see it. I don't think wishing unpleasant things away is a way forward.
