Dining table and 4 chairs into an E92 3 Series. Was between 2 houses at the time and like a tit I ordered it to the old house. Had to practically sit on top of the steering wheel with my seat at about 70 degrees angle. Fortunately only had to drive 5 miles down the road.
I needed a nine foot fence post and only had this to collect it in
thought I would have to have it poking out of a window but front seat folded flat and the thing went from the bottom of passenger footwell up to opposite rear corner, swallowed the thing whole, was really surprised at that.
6 man tent, two camp chairs, camping gear for three, cushions, duvets, weekend kit, two adults one toddler, one mountain bike on roof and stoves, beers etc.
In a old Citroen C1.
The key is load it under the seats and rear footwells.
Did the NC500 over 10 days with full camping kit in a Fiat 124 Spider. Required a boot bag and some very careful packing, including behind the passenger seat with it pushed right forward. Luckily my girlfriend is short!
Some years ago I removed the rear seats and front passenger seat from my XJ series 2 and put a 6 cyl XK engine complete with gearbox into the car. Crane jib was very close to gutter but no damage.
