F-Pace desperately needs a tech upgrade to match latest XE. But where is the F-Pace SVR?!!! Anyone on here at JLR know the back story to this.....it seems to be missing in action for some time now?

Saw one in Birmingham a couple of weeks ago.
Lovely thing

Thing is- if you run the plate it comes out as something very different (e pace diesel variant in white) But everything about it seemed “correct”

Not sure if it’s a fantastic replica (already!) or was some sort of prototype/test car

Looks like a 5l Jaguar to me. I’ve seen the same car near the Solihull plant so assume it’s an employee.

Yep, that's a JLR management car. Not sure there are any customer F-pace SVR cars about yet, but I could be wrong.

How long until the 3.0 straight six ingenium is fitted to the F-pace and to the the rest of the range as well? Currently only offered in 400 bhp trim in the RRSport. Even if the MPG and C02 emissions were worse than the 2.0 petrol, I would rather have a 300 - 400 bhp petrol six than a 4 in executive/luxury type car.

Also, how long are all these recently launched 5.0 variants going to last in the range? I thought the 5.0 V8 was also going to 'die' along with the petrol V6 when the Ford contract ends soon. Seems strange to be launching the 5.0 f-pace and the Velar SV whatever when the production life is so short.
