If this car was a woman it would be a shot putter that wears make up.

Big, lardy, powerful, but not very attractive and i don't fancy it.

Hello, I'm looking for a new car. I'd like an SUV, but uglier, less practical and more expensive. Do you have anything in stock?

Step right this way sir.

By my reckoning if Porsche put prices up by 10% post-Brexit they would make the top model £115,201.
I’d love to work out how much that equates to the reduction in space as a ratio but the car is that dull and pointless I can’t be bothered (and actually, I can’t, my mental dexterity is on the wane)
I wonder if potential buyers will walk away, not only because of that price-hike (if we do Leave of course) but because it’s just so.....fugly

The ugly stick is getting smaller and smaller year by year.

But it is still an ugly stick.

Rival brands doing their best to make this look attractive by using an ugly stick it is so big that time time dilation effects happen.

You cannot make a big thing look attractive unless you try to use use a little black dress.

A smaller Porsche Cayenne? Pretty sure they already have a model that fits that bill.

Sorry but to me it’s the same as the BMW and Mercedes equivalents; gopping and pointless...
People have been saying that for thirty odd years now. You would think you would have noticed by now.

I thought coupes had 2 doors? Clearly I’m wrong as there are BMW, VW 4 door coupes etc. What’s the definition?
Coupe is from the french "cut", so anything that's a cut-down version of something else is fair game.

In the 1960s Rover turned its P5 model into the P5 Coupe by keeping the four doors of the saloon, but dropping the roofline - so not dissimilar to Porsche.

Love it.
As mentioned above Porsche wouldn’t consider making it if they weren’t going to sell shedloads of them. Love the Audi version of this too.
Since when has it been within Porsche’s remit to build practical cars? No one will care as it looks great.

Macan on steroids. I sort of like it from some angles, not from others.

A bit like the RR Evoque convertible - the answer to a question that no-one's really asking.
It will probably sell nonetheless.

Love the seats, very 80’s 911. Not convinced by these less practical X4/X6 coupe type SUV’s though. I’ll wait until Singer knock up one of these smile

'Coupe' means 'cut' and means a a 'cut-down' version of an existing car. Either it can be shortened or the roof can be lowered. The number of doors is irrelevant.

Yep, like that. Make a great daily.
Better looking than the panamera, similar practicality, and the V6 looks good value. I don't carry tall stuff, but often stuff a bike in the car.

Full pano roof and it'd be spot on.

Coupe is a silly name for these things... what’s wrong with ‘fastback’ or something... but what really got me was the one hundred and four thousand pounds, presumably before you visit the options list.
