Details for the northern barge meet please!
If you're coming down the M1, leave at J29 and follow brown signs to Chatsworth.

That enough?

Or it's here, from 11am
https://www.devonshirebeeley.co.uk/
Traffic was busy through Baslow yesterday with hold ups of around five minutes so stock up with Werthers.

Well I'm now spending the morning replacing the water pump on the 300d instead of attending the meeting sadly

Can't make the barge meeting on account of the World Cycling Championships being held around Harrogate in late September - Nidderdale league cricket season has to start a week early.

Who's still going? I'm trying to get organised and secure a release but will stop being nice to the wife, if it's all unnecessary!

I’ll be there, and if no one else turns up I’ll just go for a razz round in the 190E.

Rear screens etc and an apparent LPG conversion. Shame there are no pics to see what's happened on installing that.
I like the piping and the softness of the leather on the Super V8/Sovereign (it's almost like Connoly leather) but that rouched style?? In what universe is that anything other than a joke?
A universe where important decisions about what constitutes a Jaguar are taken in Dearborn, Michigan by people who have last names for their first names.

I'll be there but in an unsuitable car. My car needs a drive and it's not too far from me

I'll be there in the Riley and with mini Easter eggs if I haven't scoffed them all by then.

I thought very much of this thread yesterday - was lucky to have a brief passenger ride in an X350 XJR. Absolutely stonking pace and in total comfort. Impressive, but huge. Handled very tightly, mind.

Not to worry....had a decent turn out.

Some people had a beer, some had lunch. I think everyone had a chocolate egg.
Nice (quick) drive home too.

Damn - really wanted to see that 190! I would have had to turn up in a Pug 308 - despite my efforts to find a suitable car last night (emails and texts were sent!)

I'm in a very Jag mood this Easter.

Northern XJR (308), S plate, 3k. Nice.

https://www.gumtree.com/p/jaguar/jaguar-v8-xj-seri...

Southern XJR (308), 2001, 3k. Nice alloys. Sounds like it needs some minor love.

Or, for the same money as both, this Super V8 claims to have had 8k spent in the last 2 years. Seller has two, the other has more miles and a leaper. Contrary threadist?

Hi, I'm an avid reader of this thread and I believe my car featured on these pages a few months before I bought it in April 2016 It's a s211 e500 in doom blue.

Anyway I came home tonight to find it sitting on the bump stops at the rear. I have been aware of a leak on the offside rear air strut, but have been giving it a good hard ignoring, but now it seems both sides have gone. Does anybody on here know of a good aftermarket replacement for these, I believe Arnott are the people to go to but they seem like daft money unless I'm looking in the wrong places for them. (nearly as expensive as the Mercedes items).

Has anybody had experience with Aerosus? or the cheapo items on eBay?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Never used Aerosus, but I got a pair of struts for my Range Rover from Suncore who are a similar sort of company. They were very cheap - I paid just over £300 for the pair. They’ve since survived 20k miles of Mexican roads with no issues, which I’d say is the equivalent of easily 80k of UK roads. I’d always recommend going aftermarket over OEM with older barges.
